Our history

We started our activity in 1993 as integrators of automated production process management. The field of activity and the desire to improve led us to establish close relations with the research institutions of the agricultural and food industry, and these relations have only strengthened over the years, which has become an integral part of our activities. All the technologies we develop and offer are based on science and practical testing. The growing global demand for sugar and, in particular, outdated technologies used for decades, have led to the search for solutions that will make sugar production easier and more efficient.

The turning point came in 1998, when a tangential membrane microfiltration system was noticed at a European milk processing plant. This event forced us to abandon the idea of further development of ion exchange technology for filtration and discoloration of sugar juice, and the fact that the aforementioned technology is able to purify milk as a liquid allowed us to understand that a similar technology can be applied in sugar production. Of course, the mentioned technology did not suit us at all, since we needed not only microfiltration, but also ultrafiltration and nanofiltration. Well, if the goal is to completely abandon traditional methods of juice purification, such as carbonation or sulfitation, then it was necessary to design and manufacture filter elements that would cover filtration capabilities in the range from 10 microns to 0.001-0.003 μm. We started creating our own filter elements. The task was to develop and manufacture inexpensive filter elements with a long service life and easy cleaning. The production of filter elements is a very complex process, and the existing materials also turned out to be not very suitable, since conventional ceramic filters quickly clogged, and knowing that the sugar production process is continuous, it was necessary to find another solution. We came up with the idea to make double filters, one of which is involved in the process, and the other can be washed at this time. The process of switching between the stages was controlled by a PLC, which analyzed the composition of the incoming and outgoing juice, as well as measured the temperature and pressure at both the inlet and outlet. We really liked this control principle, because the filters worked flawlessly, and the degree of purification was very high, except that the washing time of the elements exceeded the filtration time itself. Of course, it would be possible to make triple filters instead of double filters, but this would increase the cost of the system by about 40%. We realized that the problem lies in the filter elements themselves, and it is impossible to achieve an optimal solution by simply increasing their number. Conclusion - although the control is ideal, but conventional ceramic filters are not very suitable for us, and we need to look for another filter material or create a completely new composite material. Working with the best institutes, universities and laboratories, we have achieved the long-awaited result.

In 2016, the filter material we needed was developed. This new bi-ceramic material turned out to be several times more efficient than conventional ones, so already in 2017, we manufactured the first two filters of different capacities and, together with other necessary equipment, built two experimental sugar factories. During 2018, we upgraded this technology, called SUSEP, and applied it to molasses processing. We called the molasses processing technology MOSEP. Many years of creative and working experience have allowed us to develop a technology that radically changes the process of sugar production. Thanks to these two technologies, lime, carbon dioxide and sulfur compounds are no longer used in the sugar production process, the sugar has become purely organic without harmful impurities, and the sugar itself is extracted by 12-25% more due to better extraction and cleaning. No more by-product like molasses. The sugar, which until now could not be extracted, was called direct polarization sugar and became the main component of molasses. Our technologies change not only the principles of production, but also the quality of products. From now on, sugar is not only cleaner, but also healthier, because it is organic sugar.
